As RTS offers high-end software solutions of course our equipment has to comply with the same standards. Our IT Operations Managers are taking care of our high-end datacenters in Frankfurt, Chicago, London and New York – to only name a few.They are responsible for providing stable, high-performance IT infrastructure for all RTS customers, including those within and outside RTS datacenters responding to set up requests and also support the overall design of the global RTS network environment.
Then planning, implementing and maintaining our software and hardware installations is what you are looking for. You will be responsible for providing stable low-latency, secure and robust data transmission services within and outside of RTS datacenters. One of your major tasks will be to ensure all RTS services operate under optimal conditions in terms of servers, operating systems, network equipment and cabling and to continuously improve performance in these environments.
You will research and develop new as well as adjust existing installations, configuration and maintenance plans for our datacenters, in-house network and exchange test connections and thus establish and continuously improve process standards.
Not only will you oversee software and network security at RTS’ datacenters, manage back-ups and monitor our computer systems and functions, you will prepare and execute our application upgrades, full deployments and new release roll-outs.
…if you are have a complete understanding of Unix and other operating systems (Solaris, Redhat, Suse, etc.) and in depth experience with networking, using Cisco routers, firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS and UDP. If you can base this on a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable experience, you are fit to respond quickly to the rapidly changing technology we call our business.
